0. What's the use of this program ?
================================
That is an interesting questions, especially since the speaker of the
pilot is of such low quality.
I can think of two good reasons :
1. Well, believe it or not the setting that Palm decided on for the pilot
alarm is not the best. In this case setting the volume to the maximum
does not seems to be the best choice. All I can say is, use the
software and try various setting and post the result to other pilot
users.
For my case, I have found that the alarm sound louder when the Alarm
Volume is set at between the Mute and Mid setting. The Master volume
is set to the max.
2. If you do not like to hear sound from the pilot totally. You can set
the master volume to Mute. But be careful, you will not hear your alarm
as well.
Cases when you want to do this is, Mute the annoying Hot-Sync sound or
during meeting you like to play with the tricoder or other games that
don't have an option to mute the sound.
