  21. 1. What does PocketMoney do?

  24. PocketMoney is an personal financial manager for the Palm OS. You can setup
  25. savings, checking, credit card, and loan accounts. PocketMoney is designed to
  26. handle all of your financial needs right from your Palm Computing Device.
  27. PocketMoney offers a powerful reporting features, quick data entry, warnings if
  28. you overdraw your checking account or go over your credit card limit, support for
  29. multiple currencies (great for travelers), unlimited number of accounts,
  30. unlimited number of categories (including sub and sub-sub categories), unlimited
  31. number of payees based upon the current category (ie:only payees related to Food
  32. popup), classes supported, and more...

  34. PocketMoney 2.2 requires Palm OS 2.0 or greater. Some features require OS 3.0, 
  35. 3.5, or greater.

  58. Q: How do I get PocketMoney data into Quicken or MS Money?
  59. A: Use the included PocketMoney Conduit. See the conduit.txt file for directions 
  60. on uploading and downloading QIF (Quicken Interchange Format) files.

  62. Q: How do I get PocketMoney data into a database or spreadsheet?
  63. A: Use the included PocketMoney Conduit. See the conduit.txt file for directions 
  64. on uploading and downloading TDF (Tab Delimited Format) files.

  66. Q: I'm trying post transactions from CheckPlease or MPG to PocketMoney, but I'm 
  67. getting errors.
  68. A1: Due to a difference in Palm OS 2.0 and Palm OS 3.0 posting from other programs 
  69. doesn't work on Palm OS 2.0 devices. Upgrade the OS to 3.0 if you want to use the 
  70. posting feature.

  72. Q: Why doesn't the password work?
  73. A: It does work, but it only accepts up to 4 numbers. If you want real security 
  74. for your Palm OS 3.5 based device I suggest using AutoLock. AutoLock is a program 
  75. that I've written to create better and more user friendly security for the Palm.
