  19. MTI WavePlayer will allow you to play wave files on your pilot.

  21. You may also assign waves to be played instead of system sounds
  22. by assigning them in the System Sounds menu option and then enabling
  23. the replacement by clicking the checkbox on the main form. You may
  24. assign different waves for each of the system sounds.

  26. The unregistered version will only recognize the first three wave files
  27. loaded on your pilot. Also, the wave files must be smaller than 64K.
  28.  
  29. The registered version will build a list with all of the wave files
  30. on your pilot so that you may choose from the entire list. It will
  31. also include a program to make .pdb out of wave files that are larger
  32. than 64K.

  34. In order for wave files to be loaded onto your pilot, a header
  35. needs to be added. The file HEADER.TXT has been included with
  36. all of the necessary information to make your .WAV file a .PDB file.

  39. A batch file has been included to simplify adding the
  40. necessary header to the wave file. Type the following:
  41.  
  42. ADDHDR wavename
  43.  
  44. Replace wavename with the wave filename but do not
  45. include the .WAV extension.

  47. You will then have a file with the same name as your wave file but
  48. with a .pdb extension. This file can be loaded on your pilot.

  52. To add the header file to your wave file, you must use a program
  53. that can add the header.txt to the beginning of the file and then
  54. allow you to add the name into that.
