  5. Welcome to Highway Manager Pro!

  8. Highway Manager is a gas mileage application that supports both metric and 
  9. imperial measurements. 
  10.  
  11. The program gives multiple statistics: 
  12.     - liters/gallons per 100 km/miles
  13.     - amount per 100 km/miles
  14.     - amount per liter/gallon
  15.     - km/miles per liter/gallon
  16.     - total km/miles
  17.     - total amount.

  19. You can also find out how much you spent in a given date range and for a 
  20. given category. Mileage can be entered as absolute and relative distances. 
  21. Decimal points can be configured. Support for up to 10 currencies. 
  22. Support for up to 10 vehicles. The program also supports up to 15 
  23. trips per vehicle. A trip allows you to keep track of where your money was 
  24. spent and get statistics for the trip only. You can also keep track of car 
  25. maintenance and insurance payments and discover the real cost of ownership 
  26. of your car. Notes can be attached to any entry, which can function as both 
  27. a trip log and to keep track of business mileage to use for tax purposes. 
  28. Fast data entry via Graffiti. All data can be exported to host computer with 
  29. provided conduit (Windows). Documentation full of examples on usage.

  32. can download the current conditions and 5 day weather forecast for cities 
  33. around the world!

  49. 2 - Installation Instructions

  52. - If you are upgrading from Highway Manager Lite:
  53.     - it is not necessary to delete it before installing this version.
  54.     - if you have entered different currencies:
  55.         * go to the currency screen and write down the currencies listed
  56.           and their values. After upgrading to HM Pro the first thing you
  57.           should do is go to the currency screen and re-enter the currencies
  58.           you had in the same order as previously. This will ensure that
  59.           entries you have in different currencies are retained as before.

  61. - Install Highway Manager like any other PalmPilot application
  62.  
  63. - Enter your registration code via the "Register..." menu item under
  64.   the "Help" menu.

  96. column (can toggle between currencies and categories). New entries can be pre-filled

  99. run on specific days.

  101. v2.4 - June 29th, 1999 - Right justified fields, Amount column header will cycle 
  102. through different statistics, last used category is now remembered.

  104. v2.31 - June 15th, 1999 - Can now change individual units by tapping on the relevant 
  105. column header (distances and volume). Now remember the last currency used.

  107. v2.3 - May 27th, 1999 - Added: categories, date range stats by category, 
  108. export of category information by conduit. Fixed: minor problems, no more 
  109. rounding errors when using miles and gallons, conduit "show stats" now 
  110. works for absolute distances.

  113. ownership checkbox, moving of items between trips, fast data entry with 
  114. graffiti, new section "Getting Started Quickly" in the documentation,

  116. include Km/L (Mi/G) and L/100 (G/100) stats for each entry.
  117. Fixed: remember current vehicle, note does not disappear if change the 
  118. date of an entry, delete/compact range function.
