  5. This is the readme file for FincxlPC 1.1 for the Palm Pilot.
  6. This program is written for the PocketC palmpilot software.
  7. If you do not have PocketC, you can download the runtime
  8. library for free (PocketCrt).  PocketC or PocketCrt must
  9. be installed for this program to operate (as well as Mathlib).
  10. Both PocketCrt and Mathlib are include in the zip file, and
  11. can be loaded for free.
  12.  
  13. FincxlPC provides six financial programs, as specied below.
  14. Although the program does the job, it is a bit slow (this
  15. is because of PocketC).  I personally prefer the Fincxl functions
  16. for the Russ Webb Calculator, which are faster.  I have included
  17. Fincxl for you to try in this package as well.  If you do not 
  18. already have the Russ Webb Calculator, I HIGHLY recommend it.  In
  19. any event, the PocketC program (FincxlPC) works as advertised,
  20. and is very useful if you do not have access to the RPN calculator.

  22. FincxlPC is Shareware.  See "License" below.  If you like it,
  23. please register it at www.Pilotgear.com.  It is a cheap $5....

  38.     To install FincxlPC on your PalmPilot, use the PalmPilot Install Tool
  39.     on your PC to install the following files:
  40.  
  41.         FincxlPC.pdb
  42.         FincxlPC.prc
  43.             Mathlib.prc        ....Required for FincxlPC
  44.         PocketCrt.prc      ....only required if you do not have PocketC
  45.                                    already installed.  This is the runtime
  46.                                    only version of the PocketC compiler.

  50.         Loan Calculator
  51.         Future Value of Investment
  52.         Future Value of Regular Deposits
  53.           Deposits required for a Future Value
  54.         Maximum Regular Withdrawals from an Investment

  56.                      (i.e., what is $X in the future worth in
  57.                       todays dollars).
