------------------------------------------------------------------
How to use CPT:

CPT will ask no questions and simply save the record.

------------------------------------------------------------------
CPT TRANSLATOR:
Cautions:
1. Place CPT_TRANS.exe into its own directory.
2. DO NOT PLACE CPT_TRANS.exe in Palm\~username~\Backup.
By doing so you will lose any chance of data recovery if
translator makes an error.
3. Translator has only been tested with MS Excel.
4. DO NOT USE COMMAS IN CPT15.csv file AT ANY TIME
5. Translator only works with file with in its own directory.
EXPORT to P.C. Directions:
1. Locate and copy CPT15.pdb file to CPT_TRANS.exe directory.
2. Start CPT_TRANS.exe and click on "Convert".
3. If conversion is successful, a file named CPT15.csv will have
been created.
4. Open the CPT15.csv file with MS Excel.
5. Make any modifications you wish. Save file as a CSV (comma
delimited) (*.csv) type to the same directory that the
CPT_TRANS.exe file is in. If you save the CPT15.csv file as
any other format the translator will not be able to convert
back to PDB.
IMPORT to PDA Directions:
1. Click on "Create".
2. Translator will now check the CPT15.PDB file for field size
over-runs (SEE FIELD SIZE RULES). If an error is detected,
translator will call out the error and force you to fix it.
3. Once error check is complete, translator will modify
CPT15.pdb file.
4. Copy of CPT15.pdb that the CSV file came from must be in
same directory as CPT_TRANS.exe.
5. Once PDB file modification is complete, install CPT15.pdb
file to PDA with provided button marked "Install CPT15.PDB".
**CAUTION** Translator can only put back what it has taken in.
Example: 40 records in, only 40 records out. If you wish to
create more records in your spread sheet. You must allocate
the space on the PDA by pressing the new button. This will
create in a sense dummy records that the translator will use
to put in the new spread sheet data.

worry. The database gets backed up to your computer.
1. Install the program to the palm. DO NOT HOT SYNC YET.
2. You may then install or "reload" the most recent database
from your backup directory. Typically
C: \ Palm \ user name \ backup.
3. NOW HOT SYNC.
If you HOT SYNC without installing backed up database,
You may lose your data.
