BCalcPalm - is a tool intended to simplify currency calculations in the financial sphere. It has all the capabilities of an ordinary calculator, plus capabilities to work with currencies of various countries (over 160).
A separate program for PC under Windows 95-98 NT 2000 serves to download the latest currency rates which are refreshed every 30 minutes.
2. MAIN FEATURES.
- Configurable buttons for quick specifying of currencies;
- 3 ways of currency rates updating (automatic via Palm, by downloading new .pdb file, manual updating);
- The database is updated every 30 minutes;
- The list of 165 national currencies;
- Keeping calculation history, up to ten histories;
- All functions of a conventional calculator, including usage of memory;

3. WHAT'S NEW.
1.04 version includes new feature - currency rates can be updated by downloading new .pdb file (via BCalcPalmServer.exe program). After downloading the file you have to install it to your Palm with a help of HotSync Manager and Palm Desktop.
Note: When updating in this way - all currency rates are updated (not only enabled ones).
New option added to the List of Currency's window: now you are able to hide/show those currencies which are not checked for updating/using.

4. INSTALLATION NOTE.
Here you will find the description of the installation process, and also step-by-step instructions to perform updates of the currency rates.
1. Unzip bcalc.zip file to a separate directory.
2. Install BCalcPalm.prc file on your Palm with the help of HotSync manager and Palm Desktop.
Now, to update the currency rates (automatic method):
3. Close HotSync Manager and launch bcalcserver.exe on your PC.
4. Configure it to the port to which the docking station is connected.
5. Run the BCalCpalm program at your Palm, while it is in the docking station.
6. Press the RateInfo button, and then Check Rate.
Palm will download via docking station an updated database of currency rates from the www.belcaf.com site.

6. ABOUT THE FULL VERSION.
Registration removes all limitations which has shareware version. This limitations are:
- 30-day trial period;
- few nag screens.
Registered users get no-time-limit technical support and availability of a free upgrade.
