  1. How to use Search and Replace 98
  2. ================================

  4. The instructions to use SRHTML98 are very simple. Run the installation. 
  5. It will extract the files into the directory you designated. No icons are
  6. created. You can create a shortcut if you want to.
  7.  
  8. Instructions: 
  9.  
  10. - Start SRHTML98. Click the "Pick Directory" button and select the directory 
  11.   that contains the files you want to process. Then type the Find and 
  12.   Replace phrases into the boxes provided. Double click on the file you would 
  13.   like to process to load it. Click the "Start!" button. 
  14.  
  15. - If the option "Prompt for replacements" option is checked, you will be 
  16.   prompted whether you would like to replace each occurence or not.
  17.  
  18. - To cancel the process, press ESC or the Cancel button if you are prompted to 
  19.   replace.
  20.  
  21. - To process an entire directory, check the option "Process entire directory". 
  22.   This will automatically load every file, process it, and save it. To cancel 
  23.   the process, press ESC.

  25. - If you want to save the current settings, check the option "Save settings on
  26.   exit". When you quit SRHTML98, it will save your settings into SRHTML98.INI 
  27.   which is located in the same directory as the executable. This allows you
  28.   to simply delete the directory if you wish to remove the application
  29.

  34. This application is a 32-bit application to make use of long file- and 
  35. directories names. It has been optimized to run fast and efficient and
  36. replace many and small files. It will not be able to run files bigger 
  37. than 512 KBytes.

  39. The application has also been optimised to provide fast response throughout 
  40. the Windows(tm) system, but you are recommended not to run the application 
  41. on heavily used and utilised machines (sluggish machines).

  44. ANY computer data that might impact and or damage the business. It is good 
  45. data processing procedure to test this application on non-critical data first 
  46. and to secure any files that might be impacted on by the application to
