  1. This License applies to the run-time version of Microsoft Video for Windows
  2. (SOFTWARE). If you do not agree to this License, you do not have any right to
  3. use the SOFTWARE. Microsoft grants to you the right to reproduce and distribute
  4. the SOFTWARE provided that you (a) distribute the SOFTWARE only in conjunction
  5. with and as a part of a software application product or data file which is
  6. created for operation on the Microsoft Windows, Windows NT, or Modular Windows
  7. operating systems; (b) do not use Microsoft's name, logo, or trademarks in
  8. any marketing or advertising; (c) include a valid copyright notice on your
  9. software application product; and (d) agree to indemnify, hold harmless, and
  10. defend Microsoft and its suppliers from and against any claims or lawsuits,
  11. including attorneys' fees, that arise or result from the use or distribution
  12. of your software application product which incorporates the SOFTWARE. You may
  13. not distribute the SOFTWARE as part of any operating system, or on a standalone
  14. basis. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the SOFTWARE.
  15. MICROSOFT DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT
  16. NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR
  17. PURPOSE AND NONINFRINGEMENT. NEITHER MICROSOFT NOR ITS SUPPLIERS SHALL BE LIABLE
  18. FOR ANY DAMAGES WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS OR INFORMATION, BUSINESS
  19. INTERRUPTION, OR OTHER PECUNIARY LOSS, EVEN IF MICROSOFT HAS BEEN ADVISED OF
  20. THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. BECAUSE SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION
  21. OR LIMITATION OF LIABILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, THE ABOVE
  22. LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. The SOFTWARE is provided with RESTRICTED RIGHTS
  23. as set forth in subparagraph (c)(1)(ii) of The Rights in Technical Data and
  24. Computer Software clause at DFARS 252.227-7013 or subparagraphs (c)(1) and (2)
  25. of the Commercial Computer Software_Restricted Rights at 48 CFR 52.227-19, as
  26. applicable.  Manufacturer is Microsoft Corporation One Microsoft Way/Redmond, WA
  27.  98052-6399. This Agreement is governed by Washington law.
