- Important last-minute information:
-
- The most important thing to keep in mind with this release is that Mosaic
- is now a 32-bit application. This means that Mosaic is a native Windows
- NT ix86 application. It can be run under Windows 3.1 via the Win32S DLL
- extensions. THESE MUST BE INSTALLED BEFORE YOU TRY TO RUN MOSAIC. If
- you have been using the MPEG player from our FTP server, you may already
- have the Win32S package installed. Otherwise, download the WIN32S.ZIP
- file and unzip it, then run setup.exe.
-
- The other major features of this release are: printing support (which is
- STILL BUGGY, it also does not print images, bold print and it is having
- problems with large files), viewing/saving of the document source (i.e., if
- you are looking at a document, you can save it without having to reload it),
- access authentication, horizontal scrollbars, and a host of bugfixes. See
- the update.txt file for the complete list of features and fixed bugs.
