  1.             Task Killer

  3. Task Killer is a Microsoft Windows Shareware program designed to 
  4. display all of the modules (DLL's and EXE's) currently loaded in the 
  5. system.  In addition, Task Killer can:
  6.  
  7.     - Terminate (or load) any module
  8.     - Decrement the usage count of DLL's
  9.     - List Virtual Device Drivers (VxD's)
  10.     - Create multiple module lists showing the state of the system at 
  11.       different times
  12.     - Compare module lists in side-by-side windows
  13.     - Save module lists to files
  14.     - Print module lists
  15.     - Display module version information
  16.     - Display the size of modules in memory
  17.  
  18. Task Killer is invaluable to programmers, technical support personnel, 
  19. network administrators, and power users.  DLL's which have been left in 
  20. memory can be freed and runaway programs can be terminated.  You can 
  21. determine where DLL's have been loaded from, as well as sort out DLL 
  22. conflicts.

  24. Task Killer requires an IBM PC or compatible running Windows 3.1.

  46. Installation

  48. To install Task Killer, copy the files in the KILL15.ZIP file into the 
  49. You may now create an icon by choosing the FILE | NEW menu option from 
  50. the Windows Program Manger.  Click on the OK button or press ENTER.  
  51. Complete the Program Item Properties dialog box and press ENTER.
