  26. The SmartDesk Virtual Machine is a binary collection of programs, libraries,
  27. and utilities designed to enhance the Windows environment.  Once installed,
  28. the VM provides:

  76. SECTION 3 - Installation

  79. The SmartDesk Virtual Machine is provided as a downloadable self-extracting
  80. file which has been compressed using WINZIP.  The current release file 
  81. information is:

  83.     SDVM36.EXE dated January 12, 1999
  84.  
  85. To install:
  86.  
  87.     1. Copy the SDVM36.EXE file to a temporary directory.
  88.  
  89.     2. Run the SDVM36.EXE file and follow the on-screen instructions.
  90.  
  91.     After the VM installs, the VMSTATUS program will automatically be
  92.     launched.  It is not necessary to restart windows.  By default, the VM
  93.     will only load when required.  You can optionally set the VM to AUTOLOAD 
  94.     when Windows starts via the OPTIONS portion of the VMSTATUS program.

  174. please perform an uninstall first.  After uninstalling, we HIGHLY
  175. recommend restarting Windows before installing the new stuff.

  240. SECTION 8 - Uninstalling

  243. The SmartDesk VM can be running the SDUNSTL.EXE program in the WINDOWS 
  244. directory will also access the uninstaller.
  245.  
  246. A password to remove the VM is required only if one was setup via the
  247. VMSTATUS program.  In such event, the password must be entered before the
  248. uninstaller will remove the VM.
  249.  
  250. After uninstalling, it is recommended (though not required) that Windows be
  251. restarted.
