  1. License Agreement
  2.  
  3. "Eric's Bookmark Integrator", (C)1997 Friedrich Datentechnik GmbH, Germany

  5. IMPORTANT - READ CAREFULLY: This FRIEDRICH DATENTECHNIK GMBH
  6. End-user License Agreement ("EULA") is a legal agreement between
  7. you (either an individual or a single entity) and FRIEDRICH
  8. DATENTECHNIK GMBH for a license to use "Eric's Bookmark Integrator".
  9. "Eric's Bookmark Integrator" includes computer software and associated
  10. media and may include "online" or electronic documentation 
  11. ("SOFTWARE PRODUCT" or "SOFTWARE").
  12. By installing, copying, or otherwise using the SOFTWARE PRODUCT,
  13. you agree to be bound by the terms of this EULA.
  14.  
  15. The SOFTWARE PRODUCT is protected by copyright laws and international
  16. copyright treaties, as well as other intellectual property laws and treaties.
  17.  
  18. The SOFTWARE PRODUCT is licensed, not sold.
  19.  
  20.  
  21. 1.   GRANT OF LICENSE. This EULA grants you the following non exclusive rights:

  23.      a. Unregistered Use (Shareware License)
  24.     You may install and use one copy of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT
  25.     for evaluation on a single computer.
  26.     Within 30 days of first use you must register or uninstall
  27.     the SOFTWARE PRODUCT after the initial 30 days trial period.
  28.  
  29.      b. Registered Use
  30.     You may install and use one copy of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT
  31.     permanently on a single computer.
  32.     You may also store or install a copy of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT on a
  33.     storage device, such as a network server, used only to install or run
  34.     the SOFTWARE PRODUCT on your other computers over an internal network.
  35.      However, you must acquire and dedicate a license for each separate
  36.     computer on which the SOFTWARE PRODUCT is installed or run from the
  37.     storage device. A license for the SOFTWARE PRODUCT may not be shared or
  38.     used concurrently on different computers.
  39.     If you have acquired a multi-user or site license for the SOFTWARE,
  40.     you may make the number of additional copies of the computer software
  41.      portion of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT authorized in your license agreement
  42.      with FRIEDRICH DATENTECHNIK GMBH, and you may use each copy in the
  43.      manner specified above.

  46. 2.   DESCRIPTION OF OTHER RIGHTS AND LIMITATIONS.
  47.  
  48.      a. Limitations on Reverse Engineering, Decompilation, and Disassembly.
  49.     You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the 
  50.     SOFTWARE PRODUCT, except and only to the extent that such activity is
  51.     expressly permitted by applicable law notwithstanding this limitation.
  52.     
  53.      b. Separation of Components. 
  54.     The SOFTWARE PRODUCT is licensed as a single product. Its component
  55.     parts may not be separated for use on more than one computer.
  56.     
  57.      c. Rental.
  58.     You may not rent or lease the SOFTWARE PRODUCT.
  59.  
  60.      d. Software Transfer. 
  61.     You may permanently transfer all of your rights under this EULA, 
  62.     provided you retain no copies, you transfer all of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT
  63.     (including all component parts, license keys, any upgrades, and this
  64.     EULA, and the recipient agrees to the terms of this EULA.
  65.     If the SOFTWARE PRODUCT    is an upgrade. any transfer must include all
  66.     prior versions of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT.

  68.      e. Termination. 
  69.     Without prejudice to any other rights, FRIEDRICH DATENTECHNIK GMBH may
  70.      terminate this EULA if you fail to comply with the terms and conditions
  71.     of this EULA. In such event, you must destroy all copies of the 
  72.     SOFTWARE PRODUCT and all of its component parts.
  73.  
  74.      f. Warranty
  75.     This product is provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind,
  76.     either express or implied, including, but not limited to warranties
  77.     of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.  
  78.     In no event will FRIEDRICH DATENTECHNIK GMBH be liable to you for
  79.     any damages resulting from loss of use, data or profits, whether
  80.     or not advised of the possibility of damage, and on any theory
  81.     of liability, arising out of or in connection with the use or
  82.     performance of this software.
