  73. be extremely helpful in keeping multiple computers synchronized to the
  74. latest versions of their common files.  Using floppy disks or other
  75. removable media as the intermediary between the machines, you can
  76. automatically transfer the latest file versions without having to
  77. remember which files have been changed.  WinUpD8R also works across any
  78. Windows-compatible network.

  109. If your package included OWSETUP.EXE on the disk, simply run OWSETUP.EXE
  110. from within Windows and follow the on-screen instructions.

  112. If you have downloaded UPD8R.ZIP (from CompuServe) or UPD8R_42.ZIP from
  113. another BBS, or have otherwise acquired WinUpD8R without the
  114. accompanying OWSETUP.EXE installation program, simply unzip (using
  115. PKUNZIP.EXE, WINZIP.EXE or similar de-archiving utility) the .ZIP file
  116. into its own directory.  Then, from Windows' FileManager, double-click on
  117. the SETUPWU.EXE file and follow the on-screen instructions.

  119. To start WinUpD8R, simply double-click its icon.  On-line help is
  120. available should you have any difficulties in using WinUpD8R.  A short
  121. period of familiarization with WinUpD8R's documentation (either on-line
  122. or in the HELPFILE.WRI document) will pay dividends in a smooth startup
  123. of your new automatic UpD8ing procedure.

  128. A registered user of any Open Windows program is entitled to a full
  129. refund of their registration fee if they are not satisfied with the
  130. program they have registered. Send a letter to Open Windows requesting a

  138. WinUpD8R v4.2 is a "shareware program" and is provided at no charge to
  139. the user for evaluation. Feel free to share it with your friends, but
  140. please give them the original UPD8R_42.ZIP (or UPD8R.ZIP if obtained
  141. originally from CompuServe) file so that they will have all of the
  142. necessary support files. The essence of "user-supported" software is to
  143. provide personal computer users with quality software without high
  144. prices, and yet to provide incentive for programmers to continue to
  145. develop new products.  If you find this program useful and continue to
  146. use WinUpD8R v4.2 after the 60-day/30-use trial period, you must make a
  147. registration payment of $29.95 plus applicable S&H to Open Windows.  The
  148. registration fee will license one copy for use on any one computer at
  149. any one time.  You must treat this software just like a book.  An
  150. example is that this software may be used by any number of people and
