  4. BlackWidow is now an off-line browser, a site scanner and 
  5. site mapping tool. BlackWidow will scan a Web site and present 
  6. found files in an Explorer-like window. You can view various 
  7. information about each file, such as size and date, and select 
  8. files to download from the site. The site profile can be saved 
  9. to a file for later use and merged with other profiles 
  10. if needed. Password authentication is supported for sites 
  11. that require a user name and password. You can run multiple 
  12. instances of BlackWidow to work with different Web sites 
  13. at the same time, as well as do downloads from one site 
  14. while profiling another. Long filename support is included.

  16. Features include Resume broken downloads, Incorporated with 
  17. or without its own browser, a Suspend function that allows 
  18. you to suspend an operation and Resume it at a later time, 
  19. Login and Password functions for secure sites, a function that 
  20. provides Proxies and Ports, Select/Deselect files, Wildcards 
  21. file selection, Maximum & minimum files size selection, 
  22. True off-line browser with auto-links and indexes, Compatible 
  23. with HTTPS (Secured Server), Select any extensions, Built 
  24. a site with a specific file type, Support your own MIME type 
  25. to pull links from.  BlackWidow lets you retrieve any file 
  26. associated with the site, background gifs, sound files, jpeg 
  27. images, CGI-BIN files, java programs and more.
