  1. Following are the setting procedure on the Windows NT 4.0 for Monitors.

  3. 1. Select Control panel by clicking first twice My Computer and 
  4.    then twice the Control Panel. 
  5.  
  6. 2. In Control panel click Display icon twice. 
  7.  
  8. 3. Click Settings. 
  9.  
  10. 4. Click Display Type. 
  11.  
  12. 5. Click change, if You want to change the Display adapter type. 
  13.  
  14. 6. In the Manufacturers box select the model that matches your hardware 
  15.      (refer to the manufacturer specification if you need help). 
  16.    If your graphics adapter vendor is not listed insert the disk and 
  17.    click Have Disc or contact Your graphic card manufacturer.

  19. 7. Click OK and follow instructions on the screen. 
  20.  
  21. 8. After the Display Adapter has been installed properly click Close 
  22.    to exit Display Type screen. 
  23.  
  24. 9. In the Display properties screen Select wanted Desktop Area 
  25.    and the amount of colors in the Color Palette box. For possible 
  26.    alternatives refer to the Samsung monitor specification in the User's manual.

  28. 10. Click Refresh frequency to change it. 
  29.    For possible Refresh rates refer to the Samsung monitor specification in the 
  30.    User's manual.

  32. 11. Select e.g. 85 Hz:

  34. 12. Click TEST to test the display. 
  35.  
  36. 13. Click OK and the test screen appears. 
  37.  
  38. 14. If You saw the test bitmap correctly press Yes , otherwise No. 
  39.  
  40. 15. If you have changed the adapter settings you have to restart the computer 
  41.     before settings will take effect.
