BitZipper 2.06 is a minor upgrade for version 2.05 that corrects a few minor problems:
* The Extract window now correctly remembers the size and position of the window the next time it is used.
* No longer displays an error message (Access Violation) when closing an archive on Windows 2000.
* Another zip tool on the market generates a slightly incompatible type of archives. We don't know which tool it is, but it has been seen in archives downloaded from Peanut Press. A fix has been implemented in BitZipper so that you now safely can add files to those archives as well.
* Now handles missing volumes from multi-volume archives better.

BitZipper 2.05 is a minor upgrade for version 2.0 that corrects a few problems:
* BitZipper can now open archives received as email attachments using Outlook
2000 under Windows 2000.
* tar archives created with BitZipper can now be extracted on Unix platforms.
* Could not extract all files from certain Java archives (created zero byte
files).
* Could not open tar files inside .tgz files
* 'Include files in subfolders' on the Add dialog did not work for the
'Files' option, only for 'All files' and 'Selected'.
* The backup feature did not limit files included from subfolders to the
entered file specs, but included all files instead.
* Password encrypting zero-byte files caused files with wrong headers to be
added to the archive. The zero-byte files would be reported as damaged
when doing an archive test.
* Could not extract volume 2+ of multi-disk .rar, .cab, .ace and .arj files.

interface has been made more user friendly by adding more than 70

for you, you don't have to refresh the files in the archive
manually.

Installation

To install BitZipper, run the program BITZIP20.EXE and follow the instructions.
