This release is an interim release to solve some of the problems that have been detected and reported by users of the program.
Registered users of version 2.0 of this program can simply upgrade by de-installing version 2.0 and installing this version. There are no additional costs involved for these users.
Problems in version 2.0:
1) Setup problem:
Costomers reported a problem with running the setup on some machines. This problem turned out to be an OLE problem and is fixed in this version.
2) Problem saving data:
Users reported that data was not properly saved when a shutdown of the Windows System was performed without previously closing Stickies. This problem occurs on some machines depending on the version of the operating system and which Microsoft service packs are installed.
In this version of Stickies an 'Autosave' feature has been integrated which will allow the user to select a time period after which all data is automatically saved (see 'Settings' dialog).
3) Tested operating systems:
This version has successfully been tested on Windows 95 OSR1 and Windows NT version 4.0 Service Pack 1 and Service Pack 2 and runs without any problems on these operating systems.
