  9. Delayer has a simple function: to delay the execution of a program
  10. by a specified number of seconds (up to 24 days!).
  11.  
  12. Why?
  13.  
  14. Primarily this is used for programs in the StartUp group (which
  15. Windows runs automatically when starting) which don't operate
  16. properly if executed immediately, or multiple programs that
  17. need delays between them.
  18.  
  19. This can also be used to do basic automation of programs, or with the 
  20. 'repeat' function could be used to run a task every hour, for instance.
  21.  
  22. Other use examples:
  23.   Pop up a periodic reminder to take a break (or get back to work!)
  24.   Periodically check E-mail, run diagnostics, etc.
  25.   Automatically log off after 8 hours (assuming you have a program
  26.     that will do that without user input.)
  27.   Run a sequence of programs on startup (instead of running them all
  28.     at once).

  34. Delayer can only be used by setting up a Program Manager icon (or 
  35. Start Menu/Desktop shortcut in Windows 95) to run Delayer with Command
  36. Line parameters.

  39. (you'll get an error, and then the correct command line syntax 
  40. will be shown in the About dialog, along with a Help button).
