  1.  Welcome to the IEClean demonstration! All of the information
  2. you want to look at is contained within the program itself.
  3. This readme file is here in case you have problems installing
  4. or running the IEClean32 demo itself. You will also find
  5. UNinstall information at the bottom of this page.
  6.  
  7.  This particular demonstration is a 32 bit *ONLY* application
  8. designed to work with all 32 bit versions of MSIE 3 on
  9. WindowsNT or Windows95 machines.  This demonstration will NOT
  10. run under Windows 3.x or with 16 bit versions of MSIE 3. If
  11. you have a 16 bit version of MSIE, look for our IEClean16
  12. product which will work with those.

  14.  Please note that when you use the "View" function to examine
  15. the large amount of personal data stored by MSIE, some data is
  16. very large and may take several minutes to finish displaying.
  17. There is no way to stop this data from displaying, so please
  18. make it a point to look over this massive data when you have
  19. a few free minutes to sit back and watch how much MSIE has
  20. stored away for anyone to view. It will be most educational.

  30. product for use with Internet Explorer 2 and 3 for Windows 3.x.
  31. If you use Netscape, our original NSClean products are also
  32. available from the same location as well.

  34.  UNINSTALL INSTRUCTIONS:

  37.  Since the IEClean32 demonstration is a full 32 bit
  38. application, we have used the commercial InstallShield
  39. installer for your convenience. Since this installer hooks
  40. directly into the Windows 4.0 (95 or NT) system, you must use
  41. the Control Panel to uninstall this program. All files and all
  42. traces of this demo will be removed by the Windows32 system.

  44.  To uninstall the demo, follow these steps:
  45.  
  46.  1. Click on the Start button.
  47.  
  48.  2. Select "Settings."
  49.  
  50.  3. Select "Control panel."
  51.  
  52.  4. Select "Add/Remove programs."
  53.  
  54.  5. Move down to find "IEClean32 Demo" among the list of
  55.     programs which can be uninstalled.
  56.  
  57.  6. Highlight "IEClean32 Demo."
  58.  
  59.  7. Click on "Add/Remove."
  60.  
  61.  8. UNinstall will run automatically and remove the IEClean
  62.     demo completely.
