  2. INSTALLATION
  3. ------------

  5. If you currently have version 2.58 or later on your system, please uninstall it before installing this version.
  6.  
  7. Few things are worse than a program installation that "sprays" files all over your hard drive!
  8.  
  9. So that you know exactly what has been placed on your system, please observe the following:
  10.  
  11. In the directory of your choice (or the default of "Program Files\TSoft Ltd\MidWavi Pro"), these files will have been created (they must all "sit" together)...
  12.  
  13. Program and necessary support files (do NOT delete any of these):
  14.  
  15.     MIDWAVI.EXE
  16.     MIDWAVI.HLP
  17.     DECO_32.DLL
  18.     MEDPDLL.DLL
  19.     REGISTER.EXE
  20.  
  21. In addition, some files are necessary for UNINSTALL to work (i.e. _ISREG32.DLL *.ISU *.ISR etc.) and these should not be deleted either.

  24. Text files:
  25.  
  26.     WhatsNew.Txt
  27.     ReadMe.Txt
  28.     MidWavi Pro Play Lists.Txt
  29.     FAQ for MidWavi Pro.Txt
  30.     OctaMED MED sound files and MidWavi Pro.Txt
  31.     Install.Txt (the file you are reading now)

  33. The text files (*.Txt) can be deleted (please read them first though), but nothing else!
  34.  
  35. An entry is created in your Registry for MidWavi Pro settings.
  36.  
  37. That's it!!

  39. Nothing else is added or changed in your system.

  41. To UNINSTALL, please make sure you take the "Add/Remove Programs" option in "Control Panel" (look for "MidWavi Pro"). Do not simply delete files or directories!

  43. Lastly, remember the old adage...If all else fails, read the On-Line Help! ;-)
