CorelMEMO lets you customize a comment by setting the size of the comment and of the CorelMEMO window, changing the background color of a comment, changing the font and color of a comment's text, and displaying a bitmap image with a comment.

Resizing CorelMEMO
You can size a comment by setting the width and height of its contents. You can also set the CorelMEMO window to adjust automatically to the size of the comment.
To resize a comment
1 Double-click a comment icon.
2 Click Edit CorelMEMO size.
3 Type a number in the Width box.
4 Type a number in the Height box.
Tip
You can also resize a comment by dragging its sizing handles.
To resize the CorelMEMO window automatically
1 Double-click the comment icon.
2 Click View Adjust window.
Changing the background and text of a comment
You can change the color of a comment's background to make the comment more legible. You can also change the font and color of a comment's text. As well, you can apply a custom color to a comment.
To change the background color of a comment
1 Double-click a comment icon.
2 Click Color Paper.
3 Click a color on the Basic colors palette.
To change the text font of a comment
1 Double click a comment icon.
2 Click Font, and click one of the following:
Header text
Body text
3 Choose a font from the Font list box.
4 Choose a font style from the Font style list box.
5 Choose a font size from the Size list box.
6 Choose a font script from the Script list box.
To change the text color of a comment
1 Double-click a comment icon.
2 Click Color, and click one of the following:
Header text
Body text
3 Click a color in the Basic colors palette.
To apply a custom color to a comment
1 Double-click a comment icon.
2 Click Color, and click one of the following:
Header text
Body text
3 Click the Define custom colors button.
4 Click a color in the Color matrix.
5 Drag the slider next to the intensity bar to set the color's attributes.
If you want to add the new color to the Custom colors palette, click the Add to custom colors button.
Tip
You can blend a custom color by typing a number in the Red, Green, Blue (RGB) and Hue, Saturation, Luminosity (HSL) boxes.
Displaying a bitmap in a comment
CorelMEMO lets you display a bitmap image in a comment. You can also choose to display the bitmap image as the comment icon.
To change the bitmap displayed in a comment
1 Double-click a comment icon.
2 Click Edit CorelMEMO picture.
3 Choose an available bitmap.
To import a bitmap image as a comment icon
1 Double-click a comment icon.
2 Click Edit CorelMEMO picture.
3 Click the Browse button.
4 Locate the drive and folder where the bitmap is stored.
