  1. Note for Windows 3.1 user :
  2. If you have problem for reading/writing floppy, try add in WINIMAGE.INI file
  3. the line :
  4. UseDpmi=TRUE
  5. or
  6. UseIoCtl=FALSE
  7.  
  8. UseIoCtl (default : TRUE) say that read/write floppy is done by DOS IOCTL
  9. if UseIoCtl=FALSE, WinImage use Int 13h (BIOS), like version 1.0 and 1.11
  10.  
  11. and say me your configuration.

  13. There is another line you can add in WinImage.ini :
  14. AutoRetry = TRUE 
  15. AutoRetry (default = FALSE) say that WinImage do 1 retry when there is a
  16. floppy error.

  18. NT User can change AutoRetry in Software/WinImage key in registration database
  19. (run REGEDT32, and use the HKEY_CURRENT_USER window).

  22. UseDpmi and UseIoCtl have only action in WINIMAGE.EXE (win16 version).
  23.  
  24. As I will drop Win16 version in next version, say me if you have problem with
  25. Win32 (winimant.Exe) version under Windows 3.1 + Win32s.
