  1.          Quick Intro to the Raven

  4. The Raven is a text management utility.
  5.  
  6. Text is placed onto the Windows clipboard
  7. by pressing buttons within Raven.  Raven 
  8. allows you to call up frequently used
  9. blocks of text and paste them into
  10. documents, email messages, or anywhere
  11. else that accepts inserted input.
  12.  
  13. To see this in action, open a word processing
  14. program or text editor and perform a paste
  15. operation.  You will see this text within
  16. the document.

  18. The design of the program is based upon
  19. a tabbed look which allows you to organize
  20. your text blocks into easy to use categories.
  21.  
  22. Each category (or section) can contain as many
  23. as 50 different text blocks.  You may also 
  24. create as many as 40 sections.

  26. This program was written for attorneys who
  27. frequently construct legal documents out
  28. of a pre-written paragraphs, computer 
  29. programmers to use as a code library,
  30. and support personnel who frequently need
  31. to post the same messages over and over again.
