  3. -------------------  Installing IconMini  -----------------------
  4.  
  5. 1. Create a subdirectory for the IconMini files. 
  6.  
  7.    Example: Using File Manager, select Create Directory in the
  8.    File menu and enter "C:\WINDOWS\ICONMINI". 
  9.  
  10. 2. Copy the IconMini files as follows:
  11.  
  12.    Example: Using File Manager, either select Copy in the File
  13.    menu or drag ICONMINI.EXE, IMRUN.EXE and ICONMINI.HLP to the
  14.    new subdirectory (C:\WINDOWS\ICONMINI).  Using the same method
  15.    copy THREED.VBX, CMDIALOG.VBX and APIGUIDE.DLL to the 
  16.    C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM subdirectory. The distribution files are 
  17.    listed at the end of this text. (*NOTE* VBRUN300.DLL is also
  18.    required in the C:\WINDOWS subdirectory. This can be obtained
  19.    from all good Bulletin Board Services)
  20.  
  21. 3. Create a Program Manager icon in the Startup group to run 
  22.    ICONMINI.EXE. 
  23.  
  24.    Example: Open the Startup group window in Program Manager.  
  25.    Choose New from the File menu, select the Program Item option,
  26.    then fill in the Description as "IconMini", and the Command
  27.    Line as "C:\WINDOWS\ICONMINI\ICONMINI.EXE".

  29. 4. Either start it now by double-clicking on the new icon, or 
  30.    it will start automatically the next time windows is loaded.

  33. -------------------  Uninstalling IconMini ----------------------
  34.  
  35. 1. Make sure that IconMini is Unloaded from the configuration 
  36.    screen. (The configuration screen is accessed by clicking on
  37.    the IconMini Bar next to the minimized icons).
  38.  
  39. 2. Remove the IconMini icon from the Startup group. 
  40.  
  41.    Example: Click on the IconMini icon in the Startup group and
  42.    then press DEL. 
  43.  
  44. 3. Delete the IconMini subdirectory and files. 
  45.  
  46.    Example: Using File Manager, click on the C:\WINDOWS\ICONMINI
  47.    subdirectory and press DEL.  WARNING: Be sure to delete ONLY
  48.    IconMini files.  The distribution files are listed at the
  49.    end of this text.

  51. IconMini is now completely removed from the system.
