  19. Release Information
  20. -------------------
  21. This version of DCM  will install once, as a fully functional, limited 
  22. life evaluation copy.
  23.  
  24. It will convert 50 documents from one format to another and then 
  25. scramble text in any documents thereafter.
  26.  
  27. There is no expiry on conversion to the Document Viewer. This will
  28. remain fully functional. To continue using the Document Viewer you
  29. must purchase a licence after 30 days from date of installation.

  31. To receive a copy of the licence, please send a blank e-mail with
  32. "Licence" as the subject.

  35. Registering
  36. -----------
  37. If you have installed DCM for reasons other than curiosity, we ask
  38. that you register your evaluation copy with us. You can do this by
  39. sending us an e-mail with "Register DCM" as the subject. You may 
  40. of course add any additional information in the body about special
  41. requirements you may have, or a phone/fax number.

  43. Registering your evaluation copy enables you to make use of our
  44. support service for 30 days from the date of registration.

  47. Support
  48. -------
  49. We provide support to enable you to obtain the results that you require
  50. from either the conversion or viewing features. We are assuming that
  51. you will not ask for support if you do not intend to continue using DCM
  52. after the evaluation period has expired.

  54. If you need help, please make an initial contact via e-mail.
  55.  
  56. We distinguish between two types of support :
  57.  
  58.      User - Understanding how to use or configure DCM, please read
  59.             the manual (manual.txt), before contacting us.
  60.  
  61. Technical - Problems with the conversion results ie incorrect format,
  62.             crashes etc please e-mail us the documents. Without the
  63.             cause, it may not be possible to provide a fix.
  64.             Any fixes will be issued FOC, as soon as complete.
  65.             Technical problems will be given priority.

  68. End User Licencing
  69. ------------------
  70. Your evaluation copy of DCM can be turned into fully functional
  71. product with Conversion and/or Document View facilities as a    
  72. non-expiring single or multi-user licenced copy, by use of a key.
  73. Keys are unique and personal to the licencee.
  74. If you wish to purchase a licence or licences, please send your
  75. order by e-mail and payment to the above address.

  77. Purchase of a licence entitles users to a further 90 days free
  78. bug fix support plus free upgrades.

  81. Developer Licensing

  83. A detailed API to the conversion dll's is available to developers
  84. who wish to add a document conversion/view facility to their products.

  89. A single Document Viewer licence costs $30.
  90. A single, full Conversion and Viewer licence costs $100.
  91. Upgrade from Viewer to full product costs $75.
