  5. -This program was written in Microsoft Visual Basic and requires
  6. the presence of VBRUN300.DLL in your Windows\System directory.

  8.     What is AutoPaper?
  9.  
  10. AutoPaper is a small program for Microsoft Windows that automatically 
  11. changes your Windows wallpaper in intervals that you choose. AutoPaper 
  12. will run in the background and requires little memory and system 
  13. resources.

  15.     Installing AutoPaper...
  16.  
  17. Simple. Just put AutoPaper's EXE file into any directory, and 
  18. create an icon for it in the StartUp group in Program Manager. 
  19. Also, make sure there is a copy of VBRUN300.DLL in the path. Dubble 
  20. click on the AutoPaper icon to load it. From now on, when Windows 
  21. starts AutoPaper will be automatically loaded.

  23.     Configuring AutoPaper...

  25. Configuring AutoPaper is quick and easy. AutoPaper uses the file 
  26. names in the "Tagged Files:" list to pick from when it randomly 
  27. changes the wallpaper. The wallpaper is changed in intervals 
  28. set by the user.

  30. - To add a BMP file name to the tagged file list, use the file 
  31. browser on the left hand side of the screen to find and highlight
  32. the file name you   want to add. Click on the "Add" button to add 
  33. the currently highlighted   file name. Clicking on "Add All" will 
  34. add all of the file names in the   currently selected directory.

  36. - The wallpaper will randomize every blank amount of minutes you 
  37. set in the lower part of the screen. A value of 0 will disable 
  38. wallpaper cycling.
  39.  
  40. - To remove a tagged file, highlight the file name you want to 
  41. remove, and    click on the "Remove" button. To clear the entire 
  42. list, click on the     "Clear" button. Note: Neither of these 
  43. options will actually remove the     file from disk.

  45. - You can preview BMPs in two different ways. To preview a 
  46. BMP in the tagged   files list, highlight the file name you 
  47. want to preview and click on the    "Preview" button with the
  48. right arrow following it. The other method is to   highlight 
  49. the filename in the file browser, and click on the "Preview"
  50. button with a left arrow following. Both methods with fit the 
  51. BMP file    into the box in the lower right corner.

  53. - For memory reasons, you may want to clear the preview box. 
  54. To clear the preview box click the right hand mouse button over 
  55. the preview box.

  57. - To delete a BMP file from disk, highlight the file name in the
  58. file browser, and click on the "Delete" button. A message will 
  59. prompt you for confirmation.

  61. - To force the wallpaper to change, first preview the desired BMP
  62. file, and click on the "Change" button.

  64. Once setup is complete, click on the "OK" button. AutoPaper will 
  65. save the options and minimize onto the desktop. To reactivate 
  66. AutoPaper, click on its icon on the desktop. If you do not want 
  67. to keep the changes made, click on the button marked "Cancel". 
  68. The unload AutoPaper from memory, click on the button marked "Close".
