  8. Installation
  9. ------------

  11. To install Screen Thief for Windows, insert the disk supplied into
  12. the floppy drive and load Windows. Using whatever facilities your
  13. Windows shell program provides, run the SETUP.EXE program. If you
  14. have a default Windows configuration this will be Program Manager.
  15. The required steps are to open the File menu and select the Run...
  16. item. When the dialog box appears enter A:\SETUP.EXE, substituting
  17. the 'A' for a 'B' if the disk is in that drive. Press on OK or hit
  18. the return key and simply respond to any prompts. Newly registered
  19. users who are installing the full version over a previous shareware
  20. copy should reply Yes when prompted to overwrite. Any settings you
  21. currently have in the STWIN.INI and STWIN.DAT files will not change
  22. as the two versions use identical data formats. You may also erase
  23. all files other than those required to run Screen Thief for Windows
  24. (that is all files other than those which match STWIN.* and *.DLL).

  26. Running Screen Thief for Windows.

  29. Run as you would any other Windows application, either by clicking
  30. on the icon installed into Program Manager, or by using whatever
  31. facilities your shell, desktop manager or file manager provides.
  32. We suggest you should open the STWIN.HLP help file first and get
  33. to know the program. If you have the shareware Test Drive version
  34. it is essential that you read through the first topics regarding
  35. the shareware concept and the limits on use for this version, and
  36. only run Screen Thief for Windows if you agree to abide by these
  37. restrictions.

  39. Errata and Last Minute Changes.

  42. The following is a list of changes or enhancements found in the
  43. Screen Thief for Windows program and help file which did not make
  44. it into the printed documentation. Please refer to these changes
  45. by typing the given key word into the Search dialog box which is
  46. available by pressing S when the Help System first loads.
