  6.  No part of this manual may be reproduced, transmitted, transcribed,
  7.  stored in a retrieval system, or translated into any language
  8.  (natural or binary), in any form or by any means, except as described in
  9.  the following license agreement or without the express prior written consent
  10.  of Moon Valley Software Inc.
  11.                            
  12.  The use of IconTamer is subject to the following terms and
  13.  conditions.
  14.  
  15.  Title To The Licensed Software
  16.  ------------------------------
  17.  Title to the licensed software is NOT transferred to the end user.
  18.  The end user is granted an exclusive license to use the software
  19.  on a SINGLE computer or computer work station. EACH computer or computer
  20.  work station must have its own licensed copy of the software.
  21.  
  22.  Copyright Protection
  23.  --------------------
  24.  IconTamer is copyrighted material. It is protected by the copyright laws
  25.  of the United States, the State of Arizona, and other proprietary rights
  26.  of Moon Valley Software Inc. You may not make any changes or modifications
  27.  to IconTamer or this manual. You may not decompile, disassemble, or
  28.  otherwise reverse-engineer the software in any way.
  29.  
  30.  You may make copies of IconTamer only under the terms of the section
  31.  entitled "Limited License To Copy The Licensed Software".
  32.  
  33.  You may use IconTamer on a trial basis provided you do not violate the
  34.  protection afforded the licensed software by the copyright laws, and you
  35.  agree to the terms of the license agreement. If you use IconTamer on a
  36.  regular basis you are obligated to purchase it.
  37.  
  38.  Limited Warranty
  39.  ----------------
  40.  Moon Valley Software does not warrant that the licensed software will
  41.  meet your requirements or that the operation of the software will be
  42.  uninterrupted or error free.  The warranty does not cover any media or
  43.  documentation which has been subjected to damage or abuse by you or others.
  44.  The software warranty does not cover any copy  of the licensed software
  45.  which has been altered or changed in any way.
  46.  
  47.  ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES INCLUDING ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR
  48.  FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARE LIMITED TO THE TERM OF THE EXPRESS
  49.  WARRANTIES. Some States do not allow limitations on how long an implied
  50.  warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.

  52.  
  53.  Other Warranties
  54.  ----------------
  55.  The warranties set forth above are in lieu of any and all other express or
  56.  implied warranties, whether oral, written, or implied, and the remedies set
  57.  forth above are the sole and exclusive remedies.
  58.  
  59.  Limitation Of Liability
  60.  -----------------------
  61.  Moon Valley Software is not responsible for any problems or damage
  62.  caused by the licensed software that may result from using the licensed
  63.  software. This includes, but is not limited to, computer hardware,
  64.  computer software, operating systems, and any computer or computing
  65.  accessories. End user agrees to hold Moon Valley Software Inc.
  66.  harmless for any problems arising from the use of the software.
  67.  
  68.  Moon Valley Software SHALL NOT IN ANY CASE BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL,
  69.  INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, INDIRECT OR OTHER SIMILAR DAMAGES ARISING
  70.  FROM ANY BREACH OF THESE WARRANTIES EVEN IF Moon Valley Software
  71.  OR ITS AGENTS OR DISTRIBUTORS HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF
  72.  SUCH DAMAGES.  Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of
  73.  incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or
  74.  exclusion may not apply to you.
  75.  In no case shall Moon Valley Software's liability exceed the license fees
  76.  paid for the right to use the licensed software, or a sum no greater than
  77.  one Dollar ($1.00), whichever is less.
  78.  
  79.  Limited License To Copy The Software
  80.  ------------------------------------
  81.  You are granted a limited license to copy IconTamer ONLY FOR THE TRIAL
  82.  USE OF OTHERS subject to the terms of this software license agreement
  83.  described herein, and the conditions described below are met:
  84.  IconTamer MUST be copied in an unmodified form and ZM301.ZIP MUST contain
  85.  the following files:
  86.      ICONTAMR.EXE -----------> The Windows Executable Program.
  87.      ICONTAMR.WRI -----------> The program documentation
  88.      REGISTER.FRM -----------> The shareware registration form.(Please!)
  89.      README.1ST -------------> Important information not in the documentation.
  90.      16Color.ICO ------------> Sample 16 Color Icon Template
  91.      8Color.ICO -------------> Sample 8 Color Icon Template
  92.      CGA.ICO ----------------> Sample 2 Color Icon Template
  93.      MONO.ICO ---------------> Sample 2 Color Icon Template
  94.      LICENSE.AGM ------------> Shareware License Agreement and Warranty

  96.  -> No fee, charge or other compensation may be accepted or requested by
  97.     anyone without the express written permission of Moon Valley Software.
  98.  
  99.      Public Domain Disk Vendors May NOT CHARGE a fee for IconTamer
  100.      itself. However you may include IconTamer on a diskette for
  101.      which you charge a nominal distribution fee. The purchaser of said
  102.      diskette must be informed in advance that the fee paid to acquire the
  103.      diskette does NOT relieve said purchaser from paying the Registration
  104.      Fee for IconTamer if said purchaser uses IconTamer.
  105.  
  106.  -> Operators of electronic bulletin board systems (Sysops) may post
  107.     IconTamer for downloading by their users without written permission
  108.     ONLY AS LONG AS THE ABOVE CONDITIONS ARE MET.  A fee may be charged
  109.     for access to the BBS AS LONG AS NO SPECIFIC FEE IS CHARGED FOR
  110.     DOWNLOADING IconTamer files without first obtaining express
  111.     written permission from Moon Valley Software to charge such a fee.
  112.  
  113.  The above constitutes the license agreement for IconTamer. It superceeds
  114.  any and all previous license agreements.
