│ This is a VENDINFO Product Information Record │
│ │
│ This record is a means of conveying information about a software │
│ product from the author to distributors and users. It contains a │
│ normal, "human-readable" section (you're reading it now), followed │
│ by a compressed data record. The data record contains a great │
│ deal of information in a form useable by automated tools. This │
│ allows BBSes, disk vendors, etc. to test automatically for │
│ permission to distribute, and to automatically extract product │
│ information for use in BBS files databases, vendor catalogs, etc. │
│ │
│ The VENDINFO file standard is published and is freely useable. │
│ │
│ The VENDINFO toolset includes a free end-user viewer, processing │
│ tools for use by distributors (BBSes, shareware disk vendors, │
│ etc.), and the editor used by author/publishers to produce these │
│ records. These tools are either free or very-low cost shareware. │
│ The toolset can be obtained from many sources, including the │

scale to desired size at selected location. Users can also
stitch image from the clipboard.
Users select images to be stitched by clicking the image itself
or th reduced version of the images. Users can adjust how the

Filtering)
Allow users to design and experiment with various predefined
and user-defined filters to achieve desired effect.
Users will be presented with a list of pre-defined filters
and user-defined filter to choose from. It's also possible

3. NOTES ON DRIVER INCLUDED
This program support TWAIN compatible device, i.e., It can acquire
input from, say, scanners that have driver which support and hence
conform to the TWAIN specification.
The file DCD.DS is a sample TWAIN driver to read bitmap file and
will be installed on the TWAIN subdirectory of the WINDOWS
directory.
If you did not get TWAIN driver software when purchasing the
scanner, contact your manufacture or dealer and ask for TWAIN
driver for the scanner. (there may be other input device that
support TWAIN) A majority of scanner manufactures have driver
which are conform to TWAIN specification.
Although it's recommended that users acquire input using TWAIN
compatible device, this program also include driver for one older
model of Logitech Scanman driver. This is partly because
originally part of the program use toolkits from Logitech, Inc.
It is include also to maintain similar option with OS/2 version of
the progra (still under development) which use similar driver and
TWAIN driver under OS/2 are generally still not available at the
time of development.
If you happen to use this scanner, include a line in config.sys
file
(Again, the author is not endorsing any brand of scanner)
DEVICE=d:\path\HHSCAND.SYS /I=4 /T=20 or
DEVICE=d:\path\HHSCAND.SYS /A=280/I=5/D=1
where
/A=280 Interface board base I/O address (hexadecimal)
/I=4 Interrupt channel (IRQ) number -
Possible values are: 0 (DOS only), 2, 3, 4, 5, 7
/D=1 DMA channel number (1 or 3)
These option will be dropped in future versions.
