  26. ABOUT THIS PRODUCT

  28.   DAUB is a new general purpose Windows vector graphics program.  Being
  29.   'brush stroke' based and implementing many machine generated effects, this
  30.   program is quite different from any other drawing program currently on the
  31.   market.  It is continuously being developed and enhanced, both in the power
  32.   of its features and in raw performance.

  54.   Whether you are a dabbler or a professional graphic artist, you need to have
  55.   a look at DAUB. This unique Windows program offers ease of use and high
  56.   quality output, at a fraction of the cost of other vector based graphics
  57.   programs. Its novel method of drawing and altering previously drawn 'brush
  58.   strokes' results in stunning graphics that can be made to look 'different'.
  59.   Feaures include scaling in x and y directions, rotations, flipping, changing
  60.   brush width, colour and orientation as you draw, altering previously drawn
  61.   strokes in accordance with stroke length, curvature, slope etc., performing
  62.   all the above on groups of strokes as well as individual strokes. Screen
  63.   painting can be done in an approximate fashion, much like draft output on a
  64.   printer, without affecting the detail of what is being drawn. Text is
  65.   supported, and all installed fonts are available (including TrueType).
  66.   Graphics can be stored on disk in DAUBs own format or in Encapsulated
  67.   PostScript (EPS text not currently supported) for importing into high-end
  68.   graphics packages. Graphics may also be copied to the Windows clipboard for
  69.   pasting to other Windows applications. Printing is supported on any printer
  70.   that can print from Windows.

  102.   Shareware Vendors have permission to copy and redistribute this program on
  103.   the following conditions:

  105.   1. The product is distributed in its entirety without modification
  106.      i.e. all files on the supplied disk.  Loader programs and
  107.      documentation files may be added, and the product may be bundled
  108.      with catalogues or other Shareware.

  110.   2. The product is identified as Shareware in all catalogues and
  111.      labelling, and recipients informed that the program requires
  112.      further payment to the author if found useful.

  121.   of the supplied disk should be packed into a single file with a popular file
  122.   archiving and compression program.  The file should be called DAUB15.xxx
  123.   where the 15 indicates version 1.5, and xxx is the normal file extension
  124.   associated with the compression program used.
