  16. 1. FILE_ID.BIZ  - A summary description for BBS use.

  19. 2. WBAG.TXT     - This file which contains information about the
  20.                   contents and purpose of the various files,
  21.                   how to get started, description of shareware,
  22.                   and the ASP Ombudsman statement.
  23.  
  24. 3. WBAG.EXE     - The WinBag program.
  25.  
  26. 4. WinBag.HLP   - Windows Help and registration form
  27.  
  28. 5. README.EXE   - Technical documentation on how to use the program.
  29.                   How to obtain technical support, both online or
  30.                   by phone.
  31.  
  32. 6. VENDOR.DOC   - Software distribution information for vendors.
  33.  
  34. 7. VBX files    - Listed in the Deinstallation instructions. These
  35. files product the speedometer and dice.

  37. Deinstallation Instructions
  38. 1. Delete the following VBX files from your windows\system
  39. directory.  MHDC200.Vbx, MHMQ200.VBX, MHGA200.VBX, BIVBX11.DLL,
  40. and MHRUN300.DLL.
  41. 2. Delete the WBAG directory.
  42. 3. Delete the Group and ICONs by selecting them and pressing the delete
  43. key in windows.

  45. Other Files which are Install related include:
  46. INSTALL.EXE,  APPSETUP.INF, CTL3D.DLL

  51. The install may not work on Windows 3.0 or earlier.

  53. You must install to a seperate directory from the one you unzip to.
  54. If you get empty icons this is usually the problem.

  58. DEFINITION OF SHAREWARE
  59.  
  60. Shareware distribution gives users a chance to try software
  61. before buying it. If you try a Shareware program and continue
  62. using it, you are expected to register. Individual programs
  63. differ on details -- some request registration while others
  64. require it, some specify a maximum trial period. With
  65. registration, you get anything from the simple right to continue
  66. using the software to an updated program with printed manual.

  68. Copyright laws apply to both Shareware and commercial software,
  69. and the copyright holder retains all rights, with a few specific
  70. exceptions as stated below. Shareware authors are accomplished
  71. programmers, just like commercial authors, and the programs are
  72. of comparable quality. (In both cases, there are good programs
  73. and bad ones!) The main difference is in the method of
  74. distribution. The author specifically grants the right to copy
  75. and distribute the software, either to all and sundry or to a
  76. specific group. For example, some authors require written
  77. permission before a commercial disk vendor may copy their
  78. Shareware.

  80. Shareware is a distribution method, not a type of software. You
  81. should find software that suits your needs and pocketbook,
  82. whether it's commercial or Shareware. The Shareware system makes
  83. fitting your needs easier, because you can try before you buy.
  84. And because the overhead is low, prices are low also. Shareware
  85. has the ultimate money-back guarantee -- if you don't use the
  86. product, you don't pay for it.

  91. WinBag software program is supplied as is. The author disclaims all
  92. warranties, expressed or implied, including, without limitation,
  93. the warranties of merchantability and of fitness for any purpose.
  94. The author assumes no liability for damages, direct or conse-
  95. quential, which may result from the use of MEG.

  97. WinBag is a "shareware program" and is provided at no charge
  98. to the user for evaluation.  Feel free to share it with your
  99. friends, but please do not give it away altered or as part of
  100. another system.  The essence of "user-supported" software is to
  101. provide personal computer users with quality software without
  102. high prices, and yet to provide incentive for programmers to

  106. useful and find that you are using WinBag and continue to use
  107. WinBag after a reasonable trial period, you must make a reg-
  108. istration payment of $23 to James Tolliver. The $23
  109. registration fee will license one copy for use on any one

  111. a book.  An example is that this software may be used by any
  112. number of people and may be freely moved from one computer
  113. location to another, so long as there is no possibility of it
  114. being used at one location while it's being used at another.
  115. Just as a book cannot be read by two different persons at the
  116. same time.

  118. Commercial users of WinBag must register and pay for their
  119. copies of WinBag within 30 days of first use or their license
  120. is withdrawn.  Site-License arrangements may be made by con-
  121. tacting James Tolliver.

  123. Anyone distributing WinBag for any kind of remuneration must
  124. first contact James Tolliver at the address shown in the
  125. README.EXE files included with this document.
  126. This authorization will be automatically granted to distributors
  127. recognized by the (ASP) as adhering to its guidelines for
  128. shareware distributors, and such distributors may begin offering
  129. WinBag immediately (However James Tolliver must still be advised so
  130. that the distributor can be kept up-to-date with the latest
  131. version of WinBag.).

  133. You are encouraged to pass a copy of WinBag along to your
  134. friends for evaluation.  Please encourage them to register their
  135. copy if they find that they can use it.  All registered users
  136. may receive a copy of the latest version of the WinBag
  137. system at any time in exchange for a modest disk and shipping fee.
