  1. CALEND INSTALLATION

  4. System requirements
  5. -------------------

  7. CALEND requires Microsoft Windows, version 3.1 or greater, with at 
  8. least 256 Kb of free memory.  Though it works best if you have a 
  9. colour adapter (VGA or higher), it will operate satisfactorily in 
  10. monochrome.

  13. Installation
  14. ------------

  16. To install CALEND, you must use the setup program 'Setup' which is 
  17. supplied on the disk. It will decompress and copy the program files.  
  18. It will also set up CALEND in Program Manager if you want it to. 
  19.  
  20. Please follow these steps:
  21.  
  22. * Start your computer and run Windows.
  23.  
  24. * Using PKZip version 2.04g, Decompress your CALEND files into a
  25.   temporary directory, say C:\TEMP.
  26.  
  27. * Close any applications except Program Manager.
  28.  
  29. * In Program Manager, select 'File | Run' from the menu and type 
  30.   'C:\TEMP\SETUP.EXE'.
  31.  
  32. * Follow the installation instructions displayed by Setup.
  33.  
  34. * If you have difficulty, please refer to your Windows documentation.
