  50.      The program Bank Investor automates the use of your checking
  51. accounts. It maintains a record of all transactions, reconciles
  52. accounts versus the bank's statement, permits printing of the checks
  53. on any standard form that you select (inc. the standard checks supplied
  54. by your bank). The "International Edition" permits operation with
  55. any currency and will print checks in English, German, Spanish, French,
  56. or Italian.
  57.      It provides the function "unpaid bills/deposits" to store yearly,
  58. monthly, or one-time-only transactions and remind about them when
  59. they become due. The overdraft protection reminds user when the account
  60. balance falls below a stated limit.
  61.      The programs allows setting up to 10 different account and each
  62. may contain upt to 6 budget categories for your income and up to 28
  63. expense categories, thus presenting an exact review of your income
  64. and expenditures over a selected time period. Budget reports show amount
  65. spent/received in any user-defined budget area over any desired time
  66. period.
  67.      The printing of customized checks is facilitated by the setup
  68. routine in which the user may define the exact position of each printed
  69. line. Thus there is no need to purchase any special forms, use ones
  70. supplied by your bank.

  77.            To install the program, start the Windows program and select
  78. "File Manager". Use File Manager to execute "INSTALL.EXE" program and
  79. respond to all the queeries as they appear on the screen.

  81.  This will initiate the installation process during which you will be
  82. given an opportunity to select the drive and directory where you wish
  83. to store the program.

  85.           After you have installed the program in your computer, you
  86. are ready to start the program. The first time that you use the program,
  87. you will go directly to the "configuration menu". A context sensitive
  88. help is provided to assist you in this process.

  95. The evaluation ("shareware") version of the Bank Investor is provided
  96. for evaluation only, on an "as is" basis. The included modules allow
  97. evaluation of Bank Investor files, and provide all the capabilities
  98. necessary for the user to verify correct functioning of those for
  99. his/her purposes.  Users are advised to do so.

  101. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE PROGRAMMER
  102. DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES RELATING TO THIS SOFTWARE, WHETHER EXPRESSED 
  103. OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF
  104. MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.  NEITHER THE
  105. PROGRAMMER NOR ANYONE ELSE WHO HAS BEEN INVOLVED IN THE CREATION,
  106. PRODUCTION, OR DELIVERY OF THIS SOFTWARE SHALL BE LIABLE FOR ANY
  107. INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE
  108. OR INABILITY TO USE SUCH SOFTWARE.  IN NO EVENT SHALL THE PROGRAMMER'S
  109. LIABILITY FOR ANY DAMAGES EVER EXCEED THE PRICE PAID FOR THE LICENSE TO

  114. This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Massachusetts
  115. and shall inure to the benefit of the programmer and any successors,
  116. administrators, heirs and assigns.  Any action or proceeding brought by
  117. either party against the other arising out of or related to this agreement
  118. shall be brought only in a STATE or FEDERAL COURT of competent jurisdiction
  119. located in Middlesex County, Massachusetts.  The parties hereby consent to
  120. in personam jurisdiction of said courts.

  125. LICENSE TERMS APPLICABLE TO ALL USE OR DISTRIBUTION

  127. You may not use, copy, rent, lease, sell, modify, decompile,
  128. disassemble, otherwise reverse engineer, or transfer the licensed
  129. program except as provided in this agreement.

  131. U.S. Government Restricted Rights:  Use, duplication, or disclosure
  132. by the U.S. Government of the computer software and documentation in
  133. this package shall be subject to restrictions as set forth in
  134. subdivision (b)(3)(ii) of the Rights in Technical Data and Computer
  135. Software clause at 252.227-7013 (DFARS 52.227-7013).

  138. LIMITED DISTRIBUTION LICENSE

  140. Permission is granted to individuals charging no fees, and to BBSes,
  141. User Groups, Mail-Order Disk Vendors, CD-ROM publishers, and BBS
  142. File-Distribution Networks regardless of fees, to distribute the
  143. Bank Investor, provided they convey a complete and unaltered copy of
  144. the shareware version of this product, and provided they claim no
  145. ownership of these products.
