  1. &Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) Switch Test
  2. ~~Remove any items from the document feeder tray and from the scanner glass.
  3. ~~Lift the ADF cover to the fully raised position.
  4. ~It should remain in the up position without user assistance. 
  5. ~Do not allow it to fall from this position to avoid damage. 
  6. ~~Ensure that nothing is blocking the ADF from being fully raised.
