  1. This driver supports 640x480 to 1280x1024 resolutions in 256 color mode and 
  2. 640x480 to 1024x768 in 64k color mode.

  4. Please note that due to the installation method that Microsoft currently has 
  5. chosen for the W32, the installation process is not as straightforward as we 
  6. would have liked.  From the Control Panel display driver installation screen 
  7. the user must select the OTHER button (not "Tseng Labs W32" which will be 
  8. listed!).  If the user selects the "Tseng Labs W32" entry from the Models 
  9. dialog box they will not get the Accelerated W32 drivers!   Detailed 
  10. instructions are given below.  After successfully  installing and 
  11. rebooting the driver and adapter, information can be viewed in the Display 
  12. applet by selecting Change Display Type.  The new drivers ID string is 
  13. "Tseng Labs Accelerated W32".  This ID string does not get written to the 
  14. Models dialog box so the Other install option must always be used to select 
  15. the Accelerated W32 drivers if they are not currently selected.

  17. The installation is straight forward and is described below as well as in the 
  18. README.TXT distributed with the drivers.

  20. Install proceedure:

  22. Select Other install option do not select "Tseng Labs W32" entry from Models 
  23. list:

  25.       Select    Control Panel    
  26.       Select    Display
  27.       Select    Change Display Type
  28.       Select    Change
  29.       Select    Other
  30.       Enter     Selected drive
  31.       Select    OK
  32.     The "Tseng Labs Accelerated W32"  is highlighted:
  33.       Select    Install
  34.       Select    Yes
  35.     If you have installed the driver in the past you may select to use the current
  36.     drivers at this time.  In this case the driver files will not be copied.
  37.       Enter       Path of OEM Display driver files
  38.       Select    Continue
  39.     The driver files are copied and installed.
  40.       Select    OK
  41.       Select    OK
  42.       Select    Restart Now  (to activate drivers)
