- Due to the nature of PnP, the Windows 95 Driver (DC690.PDR) can only support
- one DC-690C/CD(*) to be the Primary IDE card. But other non-PCI DC-6x0 or
- non-PCI normal IDE board can still be used as the Secondary one.
-
- (*) 1. DC-690C is default to have the "PCI Configuration Space" disabled.
- This may invalidate your driver installation while using the driver DC690.PDR.
- It works, though, with DC6X0.PDR driver under /WIN95, but wouldn't have the PnP
- feature. To enable the "PCI Configuration Space" in order to have the PnP take
- effect you may put the cap on pin2-3 of JP3, which is on the lower left conner.
- 2. With the "PCI Configuration Space" disabled you'd be able to work
- two DC-690Cs in the same system.
- 3. DC-690CD does not allow you to disable the "PCI Configuration Space".
