Welcome to the Orchid software installation on-line help text:

This installation program will copy the MPEG files to your hard drive
and set all statements required for use with Microsoft Windows 3.x and
DOS MPEG games.
1. From the main menu, choose the Microsoft Windows MPEG Driver Setup &
Installation option.
2. Proceed through the installation program as prompted by the installer.
3. You will be prompted to insert the Kelvin Driver Diskette. This
process will copy all the graphics drivers to your hard drive.
4. Once you return to the main menu, you can make another selection or
quit the installation program by pressing ESC.
5. The Kelvin MPEG software is now installed. Reboot your system.
6. Once you enter Windows, you will see the Kelvin MPEG Setup group.
Click on the Kelvin MPEG Setup icon. This program will provide four
options: Display Setup, Monitor Setup, Power Management and MPEG Video.
7. Click on MPEG Video to enable the Kelvin MPEG card. Remember to change
the IRQs, DMAs or I/O address if you have an address conflict.
8. Click on Monitor Setup and verify the frequency choices are supported
by your monitor.
9. Click on Display Setup and select the resolution of your choice and
one your monitor supports!
10. You system will reboot with the selections you have made.

Orchid Windows 3.1 Driver and File Installation for the Kelvin MPEG
The Kelvin MPEG Installer offers standard and network server
installation. If you are using Novell or a compatible network and
wish to load the Orchid drivers to the network server for nodes or
work stations to use, select this option. Once installed on the
network server, the Orchid icon will appear on the nodes or work
stations under the Control Panel.
NOTE: You will not need to install the drivers on the nodes or work
stations after installing on the server.
Table A below lists the resolutions modes and colors depths available
for Kelvin MPEG when MPEG is disabled.
Table B lists the resolutions modes and colors depths available for
Kelvin MPEG when MPEG is enabled.

Compuserve users type: GO ORCHID
Orchid currently provides a 16-line BBS system with eleven 14400 baud
modems and five 9600 baud modems. All lines are accessed through one
phone number. The 9600 baud units are last in the call group. They
will only be used after the eleven 14400 baud units are busy. Orchid's
modem settings are: Parity=NONE (N), Data Bits=8, and Stop Bits=1.
NOTE: YMODEM and ZMODEM are the recommended file transfer protocols.
