- ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 1. Help for Display Driver Install ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
-
- Use the Display Driver Install utility program to install the display drivers
- you need for your high-resolution display adapters. You will be prompted for
- the location of the display drivers.
-
- This window shows the types of display adapters the system will use for your
- display devices. In most cases, the display adapters shown will be correct.
-
- You can choose an adapter with a lower resolution. (For example, you can
- change XGA to VGA.) However, if a specific SVGA adapter is shown, do not
- change to another specific SVGA adapter. You can change from a specific SVGA
- adapter to Super VGA (SVGA) or to the lower-resolution VGA.

-
- If you want to change to another adapter, be aware of the following:

- o You can change from a high-resolution adapter (such as XGA or SVGA) to a
- lower-resolution adapter (such as VGA). However, do not change from a
- lower-resolution adapter to a higher-resolution adapter.
- o If a specific SVGA adapter is highlighted, do not change to another specific
- SVGA adapter. (For example, if Tseng Laboratories ET4000 is displayed, do
- not change the selection to Trident Microsystems TVGA8900.) You can change
- from a specific SVGA adapter to a lower-resolution adapter (such as VGA) or
