  6. This is the READ.ME file for panaStation Pro v1.00. It contains
  7. information that has changed or is different from the Installation
  8. Guide, as well as some other useful tips.

  11. I. TIPS/ERRATA/FEATURES/REVISIONS
  12. ============================================================

  14. PANACFG
  15.  
  16. To avoid having to reconfigure panaStation when starting MicroStation 
  17. from directories other than the main USTATION directory, you may set
  18. the environment variable PANACFG. When present, panaStation will look
  19. to the sub-directory defined by the PANACFG variable for the PANACFG1.DAT
  20. and PANACFG2.DAT files. If the .DAT files are present the data will be used 
  21. to start MicroStation, the driver will begin its configuration
  22. process if the files are not found.

  24. Syntax for the PANACFG variable is:

  26.         SET PANACFG={path}
  27.  
  28. where {path} is the complete path name of the sub-directory which holds
  29. the PANACFGx.DAT file(s).

  32. II. What if I Have Problems?
  33. ============================

  35. If you encounter a problem with panaStation, please try to duplicate, 
  36. and document, the steps required to reproduce it. As you document the 
  37. problem, list your current system configuration, including video board, 
  38. resolution, number of colors configured, etc. Also, if possible, try to 
  39. duplicate the problem with a MicroStation sample file so that we can
  40. easily try to re-create the problem on our equipment. To contact
  41. technical support, refer the Support Chapter in your manual.
