  8. Microsoft DirectX files must be installed for the following software
  9. or hardware components to function correctly:
  10.  
  11.         *Diamond Multimedia hardware MPEG daughterboards
  12.         *Software MPEG for Windows 95
  13.         *Diamond Multimedia TV Utilities for Windows 95
  14.         *Any Diamond Multimedia DirectDraw-enabled graphics device driver
  15.  
  16. Installation Order
  17. ------------------
  18.  
  19. The following list is the recommended installation order for Windows 95
  20. software from Diamond Multimedia:
  21.  
  22. 1.  Diamond Multimedia graphics device driver for Windows 95
  23.  
  24. 2.  Microsoft DirectX
  25.  
  26. 3.  Diamond Multimedia TV Utilities for Windows 95 (if the graphics card is
  27.     equipped with a TV module)
  28.  
  29. 4.  Software MPEG for Windows 95 (if the graphics card is NOT equipped with
  30.     a hardware MPEG module)
  31.

  33. Microsoft DirectX Installation Instructions
  34. -------------------------------------------
  35.  
  36. 1.  After running INSTALL.BAT, select Start | Run.
  37.  
  38. 2.  For the command line, type the following:
  39.  
  40.         C:\DIRECTX\DXSETUP.EXE <enter>
  41.  
  42. 3.  Select Re-install DirectX.
  43.  
  44. 4.  Whenever a dialog box appears stating that 'uncertified drivers are
  45.     installed', and asks if you wish to have a certified driver installed,
  46.     select "NO".
  47.  
  48. 5. Restart your system when prompted to do so.
  49.  
  50. 6. Delete the C:\DIRECTX directory and all of its subdirectories.
