  8. Overview of the Installation process
  9. ====================================
  10. It is recommended that you do not install the hardware into the computer
  11. until you have finished the software installation steps below.
  12.  
  13. Software Installation Steps:
  14. 1.   Insert the installation disk into your floppy drive.
  15. 2.   Install the software application package into the system.  See "To
  16.      Install Package" in README.HLP for more instructions.
  17. 3.   Next, you will need to install the software drivers.  At the end of the
  18.      installation, a help file (README.HLP) will be launched to guide you
  19.      through this step.
  20. 4.   After the drivers have been installed, Windows 95 will assign resources
  21.      for the hardware.  Take note of this resource configuration, and shut
  22.      down the system when prompted.
  23. 5.   Set the jumpers on the hardware using the resource settings obtained
  24.      from (4).
  25. 6.   Now install the hardware into a free expansion slot in the system.
  26.      (Remember to turn off all power to the computer first!)
  27. 7.   Restart the computer.  The installation is complete!
  28. 8.   See "To Align Video" in README.HLP to set up video alignment for the
  29.      hardware.  Note that video alignment may differ for different screen
  30.      resolutions.

  33. Troubleshooting Hardware Problems:
  34. ==================================
  35. If you encounter hardware problems after installation, please run the Video
  36. Blaster SE100 Diagnose utility which will help pinpoint any hardware fault.

  38. Uninstallating the Software Package:
  39. ====================================
  40. Refer to "To Uninstall" in README.HLP which will give you step-by-step
  41. instruction on how to uninstall the software applications and drivers from
  42. the system.
