  4. Video Kit allows you to view live video from a video input source. It also 
  5. allows you to perform editing on the captured image. Video Kit promotes most of 
  6. the features for Video Blaster like color keying and image capturing.

  11. This section provides you with steps on how to use the Video Kit application 
  12. efficiently. It is organised as follows :

  29. Allows you to save the video image to a graphics file. Currently the supported 
  30. file format is only OS/2 Bitmap.

  32. To save a video image :

  34.    1. Click  in the tool bar. 
  35.  
  36.    2. The Save file dialog box appears. 
  37.  
  38.    3. Enter a filename at the filename entry field for the image to be saved.

  40.    4. Click the OK button.

  42.    5. The image is now save in the specified filename.

  47. Allows you to open a graphics file and load the image on the video screen.

  49. To load a captured image :

  51.    1. Click  in the tool bar.

  53.    2. The Open file dialog box appears.

  55.    3. Enter the filename of the graphics file to be opened.

  57.    4. Click the OK button and wait.

  59.    5. The image is now loaded onto the video screen.

  61.    6. To display the live video again, you can unfreeze the video.

  66. Allows you to print the video image in the video screen by using the Print 
  67. command in the File Menu.

  71.    1. Ensure that the printer is setup properly before printing.

  73.    2. You can use Print Setup command in File Menu to configure the printer 
  74.       settings like correct paper size, orientation of the printing, etc.

  76.    3. Select the Print command from the File Menu.

  78.    4. The Print dialog box appears.

  80.    5. Enter number of copies to be printed.

  98. Allows you to export video to another application window. It demostrates the 
  99. color keying capability in the Video Blaster SE.

  105.    2. The mouse pointer is changed to

  107.    3. Move the mouse pointer to another window where the live video is to be 
  108.       displayed.

  112.    5. The video image is exported to the selected window.

  116.    7. To display the live video back to the video screen, click  in the tool

  122. Allows you to modify the color attributes of the video image to your 
  123. preference.

  279. The Tool Bar consists of graphic buttons for frequently used menu commands. It 
  280. can be a toggle button or normal pushbutton.

  283. Open a bitmap file with a .BMP extension. 
  284. Save the video image to a file. 
  285. Cut the video image from the video screen and transfer to the clipboard and 
  286. clear the video screen.

  288. Paste the clipboard contents to the video screen. 
  289. Freeze or Unfreeze the video image in the video screen.

  300. The Status Bar can be toggled between the status information and the online 
  301. help messages.

  303. By default, the Status Bar has three regions which display the status 
  304. information about the Video Kit window. It will be displaying the online help 
  305. messages when a menu item is highlighted.

  307. The three regions can be defined as follows :

  310.    2. Mouse Pointer Position 
  311.    3. Size of Video Screen

  314.  Indicates the filename of a graphics file that is loaded. It shows the current 
  315.  status of the video image. The video image can be live or still.

  318.  Indicates the mouse pointer position in the video screen.

  321.  Displays the size of the current video screen.
