Introduction
------------
This readme document contains the latest update information about the
Video Package for Video Blaster SE100 card in OS/2.
Package Information
-------------------
The complete Video Package includes
o MCD, VSD and PDD drivers for Video Overlay and Digital Video
o Video Blaster Setup and Video Kit applications
o Readme file and licensing agreement
The following is a brief description of the various files in the diskette :
o CTVIDEO.ICO - Icon file for Video Blaster Folder
o OVLYMCD.DLL - Media Control Device driver for Video Overlay
o VBVSD.DLL - Vendor Specific Device Driver
o VBSE100.SYS - Physical Device Driver
o VBSESTUP.EXE - Video Blaster SE100 Setup Program
o VBSESTUP.HLP - Video Blaster SE100 Setup Help file
o VBSESTUP.ICO - Icon file for Video Blaster SE100 Setup

Installation Instructions
-------------------------
To install the Video Blaster SE100 Drivers :
a. Run the program INSTALL.EXE from OS/2 command prompt.
This program can be found in the Diskette provided.
=> The 'Selective Installation Utility' dialog box appears.
b. Select the features to be installed.
c. Click the INSTALL button to begin installation.
=> The 'Installation Status' dialog box appears.
d. Click the YES button to proceed with the installation when the
'Warning' dialog box appears.
=> The 'Video Blaster SE100 Card Setup' dialog box appears.
e. Click the spin button to set the :
- Interrupt 5, 10(default), 11, 12, or 15
- Port Address 690, 6F0, 710, 718(default) or 780
- Memory base addr DISABLED (i.e. use I/O map), B000, b400,
D000, D400, D800, DC00, 9, 10, 11, 12,
13(default), 14, or 15
=> The installation is successfully completed when you are prompted
to shutdown and reboot the system.
=> The original CONFIG.SYS and MMPM2.INI are backed up to CONFIG.$$$
and MMPM2.$$$ respectively.
f. Reboot your system.
Limitation of Video Blaster SE100 OS/2 drivers
----------------------------------------------
o Can support a resolution up to 800x600.
o Can support up to 256 colors only.
o Can capture motion video of 160x120 at 20 fps.
o Supports both ISA and VESA Local Bus based VGA cards.
