INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
1) Extract the contents of this archive to an empty disk or temporary
directory.
2) Under the Program Files folder (if it does not exist, go into
Explorer and under the root directory for the drive that contains 95
create a folder called Program Files) create a folder called Creative.
Under the Creative folder, create a folder called Wave Studio.
3) Copy the WS32RES.DLL, CTWAVE32.HLP, CTWAVE32.EXE, and CTRES32.DLL files
to the newly created Wave Studio folder.
4) Copy CTL3D32.DLL and CTWFLT32.DLL to the \WINDOWS\SYSTEM folder (or the
SYSTEM folder under whatever directory you have 95 installed in).
5) If you have previously installed Creative's Windows 3.1 apps, edit the
\WINDOWS\SBWIN.INI file. In the [General] section change the WAVEdit=
line to read C:\PROGRA~1\CREATIVE\WAVEST~1\CTWAVE32.EXE.
6) Create a shortcut to the new program. (If you have the Windows 3.1
Wave Studio installed, remove its shortcut first.)
NOTE: If you have a SB Pro card, then ALSO change the Mixer= line in SBWIN.INI
to read C:\WINDOWS\SNDVOL32.EXE. This will bring up the Win95 Volume
Control app when you click on the Mixer button in a Creative
application.
