  21. This program is a simple messaging utility, designed to send messages
  22. over Windows local networks and intranets. It consumes only a small
  23. portion of memory and resources, and is the ideal solution for people
  24. that only want to send messages or talk to other people in his network,
  25. without overload the system with a commercial instant messenger full
  26. of unused features.

  28. Some of this features are:

  30. - Send text messages over a Windows network.
  31. - Talk window for a two-people real time talk.
  32. - Minimun consumption of memory and resources.
  33. - Displays a pop up window when a message arrives.
  34. - Option of automatic response to incoming messages.
  35. - Option of save the received messages.

  45. This program is freeware, but only for private use (not commercial).
  46. For commercial use or inclusion in distributions that you gets paid
  47. (CD's, ...) contact with the author for authorization. You can
  48. redistribute it for free, whenever you use the original package. If you

  56. 3. Installation
  57. ---------------

  59. The program is distributed in two formats:
  60.  
  61. Installer: Execute the .EXE file and follow the instructions of the
  62. install windows.
  63.  
  64. ZIP file: Simply extract the program's files to the directory where you
  65. want to install them, and make a shortcut to the executable file.

  68. 4. Usage tips
  69. -------------

  71. - Although this program is designed for local networks, if should
  72.   work over an active Internet connection if you use IP's instead of
  73.   computer names.

  75. - The auto-response messages are stored in the Session log instead of in
  76.   Received messages
  77.  
  78. - The auto-response feature works only if sender has a program version
  79.   that is >= 1.5
  80.  
  81. - When when the message is successfully sent, a check mark will
  82.   appear in the tray icon
  83.  
  84. - A question mark appears in the tray icon when the message is
  85.   successfully sent but the receiver has the alerts disabled (works
  86.   only if receiver have a program version >= 1.5)
