- This program can adjust your computer's clock, either automatically
- or on-demand. The correct time is obtained from one of the many
- ultra-precise "Time Servers" available on the Internet. These
- servers can trace their current time to one of the many time
- standards, such as atomic clocks or GPS satellite time beacons.

- Requires Visual Basic Runtime v6.0 which can be downloaded
- from http://www.karenware.com/powertools/runtimes.asp .

- Installation
- ------------

- 1. If you have not already done so, download and install the
- Visual Basic Runtime v6.0. It can be downloaded from:

- http://www.karenware.com/powertools/runtimes.asp

- To install the runtime, execute the downloaded file, vbrun60-setup.exe.

- 2. Execute ptsync-setup.exe.
- This is a self-extracting/auto-installing archive file.

- Use
- ---
- Once run, Time Sync displays a window with three tabs. The first tab,
- "Welcome" contains messages explaining the program's functions.

- The second tab, "Auto Sync" has settings that allow you to schedule
- and automatic sync, or adjust of your computer's clock to match an
- Internet time server.

- The third tab, "Manual Sync" allows you to sync your computer's clock
- on demand. It also lets you explore the features of Internet Time
- Servers, testing their responses to the three main time sync protocols.

- One button, in the bottom-right corner of the program's main window,
- lets you add, change, or delete entries in the program's list of Internet
- Time Servers.
