- Encodes/Compresses Wave (.wav Audio) files to Mp3 (MPEG Layer 3) audio files for file sharing and custom playlist creation from ripped CDs.
- Commonly, CD ripping software creates songs in Wav format, which can easily be converted to Mp3 with this tool. Alternately, you can create higher quality versions of your existing Mp3s by decoding them into Wav with MThree Development's Mp3 to Wav Decoder (available at http://www.mthreedev.com/) and then encoding them at a higher bitrate in the Encoder. Wav to Mp3 Encoder is especially handy for users with portable Mp3 players with limited memory space. Users can Encode Mp3s to any bitrate/file size, ensuring full use of memory and longer playlists!
- With Wav to Mp3 Encoder you can add unlimited amounts of Wavs for conversion into the filelist. You can preview a Wav by hilighting it and clicking "preview". Under the Options menu, you can select from 40 bitrate options, with 3 sampling rates and either mono or stereo encoding. Default is 128Kbps @ 44,100 Khz in Stereo.
