  6. Description : This fully customizable calendar features notes, tasks, 
  7. alarms, and displays its data on your desktop through integration with 
  8. existing wallpaper. You can organize your data in layers and share 
  9. them with other people on a local area network. There are options for 
  10. changing calendar icons, fonts and colors, marking weekdays of choice 
  11. and marking dates with notes and/or alarms. You can have a text only 
  12. version of the calendar and choose between displaying one, two or 
  13. three months on the desktop. Recurrence patterns are available for 
  14. both notes and alarms. An alarm can be stand alone or attached to a 
  15. note. If interactive desktop option is enabled, the program accepts 
  16. direct clicks on dates, notes and tasks displayed on the desktop. You 
  17. can set each note to normal, private or invisible desktop view. 
  18. Private notes are displayed as generic text reminder and invisible 
  19. notes are not displayed at all. Printing calendar data is easy and 
  20. includes an option to choose date range for printing notes. Special 
  21. desktop pictures option allows you to add some of your pictures to 
  22. existing desktop background. Finally, Active Desktop Calendar comes 
  23. with its own screensaver that displays desktop wallpaper with real 
  24. time clock.

  26. Installation : To install Active Desktop Calendar unpack this archive 
  27. to some temporary folder, run Setup.exe and follow instructions on the 
  28. screen. To uninstall first make sure the program is not active. If you 
  29. see its icon in the system tray right click on it and choose Exit. Then 
  30. go to Control Panel - Add/Remove programs, find Active Desktop Calendar 
  31. in the list, select it and click Remove.
