  10. I will try to help you to configure Arachne, WWW browser for
  11. DOS, so you can use <I>her</I> to connect to the Internet, to surf
  12. the World Wide Web and to handle your personal e-mail.

  14. Ethernet network card is piece of hardware, which allows you much more
  15. effective access to Internet than modem. DOS Internet applications
  16. access Ethernet cards using <I>packet driver interface</I>. There are
  17. also other hardware devices which can be accessed via packet driver,
  18. eg. ISDN cards.

  20. Let's determine if there is packet driver already installed in your system:
  21. the autodetection is quite safe, but you can skip it if you are 
  22. sure, that there is some packet driver already installed or if you want
  23. to install it later.
